How to Play

Basics

Match identical open stones to remove them from the board.

Typically in most Mahjong Solitaire games a stone is considered open if the left or right does not have a stone next to it & there is no stone on top of it. In this game, rather than left or right determining open stones it is the top or bottom which must be clear for a stone to be open.

Clear each stage of tiles before the timer runs out.

Levels

This is a 10-stage timed dinosaurs-themed Mahjong Solitaire game where you must clear the board of tiles before the timer runs out.

The initial level starts out with a 2:38 time limit.

On further levels the time limit grows as you advance through the game and the board layout grows more complex.

The game will choose a random set of 10 different board layouts when you play through it using the play button. You can also select any of the 100 different boards by using the level select button. When you use the level select button the timer counts up how long it took you to beat the level rather than counting down how much time you have remaining to beat it.

When you lose a level in regular play mode by running out of time the game is over and you can submit your score. Rather than pressing the end game button you can refresh your browser to replay the level you last played to continue the game.

Play Tips

Open tiles appear in a brighter color whereas tiles that are not open have a darker background color.

Tallest Columns & DeepestSections First

Each board has a unique configuration. Early levels are easy but the game gets more complex as you advance. It is best to remove tiles from the deepest and tallest stacks whenever possible so that you quickly open up the board to enable other pair matches.

Scoring

Each pair you match is worth 100 points.
Each second remaining on the level timer when you beat a level is worth 30 additional points.
Shuffline tiles costs you 500 points.
Taking a hint costs you 300 points.
Using the move undo feature does not cost you points as you regain the 100 points whenever you make sets again using the associated stones.

Game Controls

The game controls are shown in the left rail.

At the top it shows your level number, remaining time, remaining matches, and level score.

In the middle there are buttons to switch to full screen mode, pause the game, control game sounds, and control game music.

At the bottom are buttons to shuffle tiles, undo moves & take hints.

Automated Shuffles

Whenever no tile matches remain the board automatically reshuffles, so if the board does not shuffle it means there is at least one valid move remaining.
