Across the top of the game there are buttons to pause, shift to full screen, control sound, and control game music. In the center at the top it shows your current level, cumulative game score, and how much time you have remaining in the current level.
Click on cards on the tableau which are one higher or lower than the open card atop the waste pile. If you can not make any plays you can click on the next card from the reserves to set it atop the waste pile.
There is an undo button to the right of the current open card.
This game has 4 bonus cards:
If you flip up any bonus cards they show on the right rail of the game.
Unused bonus cards are retained across levels and you can stack multiple of any bonus card.
The game has 6 timed level with a 4 minute limit on each.
If you lose a level and click the end game button it is game over and you start at the beginning. If you refresh your web browser instead of clicking the game over button you can continue your prior game starting on the level you were at.
Each card you remove from the tableau is worth a multiple of 50 points. The first card you remove gives you a chain bonus of 1, so it is worth 100 points (50 + 50). Each subsequent card you remove in a streak adds to your chain bonus. So the second card is worth 150, the third card in sequence is worth 200, and so on. Each time you draw a new card from the reserves or undo a move it resets the chain bonus. The chain bonus also does not last between rounds.
Using the bonus cards does not adversely impact your chain bonus, and you can even stack them. For example, if you know you will get a long chain you can use the chain +1 card and the double score card to further boost the score, and when the chain is about to end you can lay a wild card to keep the chain bonus going.
Each second you have remaining when you complete a level is worth 2 points.
Your game score is cumulative across all 6 levels.
