How to Play

Mahjong Basics

Match identical open stones to remove them from the board. When you select a tile it is highlighted with a yellow overlay & then it disappears when you select an open match.

A stone is considered open if there is no stone on top of it AND either the left or right side does not have something next to it.
Open stones have a lighter background color than stones which are not open. Stones that are not open have a darker gray-brown color overlay.

Stones feature medival weaponry including knives, swords, axes, shields, helmets, and armor. When matching stones you must match both the item and quantity.

Finish the stage as fast as you can to earn a high score.

Find the Differences

After clearing the board of stones there is a find the differences game where you have to find a number of differences between two images which may have the same orientation or be mirrored images.

Pinch to long zoom in or out.

The find differences game shares the same level timer as the Mahjong Solitaire game.

If you click the wrong area it costs you 5 seconds (which equates to 15 points if you still finish the level before the timer reaches zero).

Levels

This game has 17 different timed levels to play through.

You unlock levels sequentially & can go back to replay previously beat levels from the level select screen.

Play Tips

Open tiles appear in a brighter color whereas tiles that are not open have a darker gray background color. Open stones are highlighted with a brown overlay when you select them & are shown on the left side of the screen while selected until matched.

Widest Rows & Deepest Columns First

Each board has a unique configuration. It is best to remove tiles from the deepest and widest stacks whenever possible so that you quickly open up the board to enable other pair matches.

Scoring

Each stone pair you match is worth 100 points.

Each difference you find is also worth 300 points.

Each second you have remaining at the end of a level is worth 3 points.

Hints cost you 300 points in either portion of the game.

Game Controls

The right rail has the game controls.

At the top it shows a fullscreen mode button, current level number, your current level score, your remaining level play time, and how many open valid matches remain (or how many differences remain in the find the difference portion of the level).
At the bottom there are 4 buttons to pause the game, take hints, control game sound, and control game music.

Find the Differences

If you are running short on time don't be afraid to use the hints button on the find differences part of the level, as you earn the same amount it costs for finding each difference.
