Starting Your Game

This is a game where connect each white dot to a single black dot with a line which can only move horizontally or vertically. Each dot is only connected to one other dot and only touches a single line.

Click on the size button to choose which size puzzle you would like to play. You can choose between 10x10, 12x12, or 14x14. Larger puzzles are more difficult.

The help button explains how shirokuro puzzles work.

In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there are buttons to erase gameplay data, share the game on social media, read developer info, or install the game on your device as a web app.

The game has a button for more games at the bottom center and a language selector which is in the upper right corner.

How to Play

Shirokuro is a logic puzzle which contains white and black circles. The goal is to connect each white circle with a black circle by a horizontal or vertical line.

Lines are not allowed to cross other lines.
The line between two circles may not pass through other circles.

Entering Your Data

Click on a white or black dot.
Click on the corresponding dot of the opposite color you want to connect it to.
Repeat the process until all dots are paired off.
If you connect a dot to another node then the original line is destroyed. You can also destroy a line by clicking on each node.
If you are unsure where to start try to look for a node which only has one node of the opposite color that is directly aligned with it in any direction. Quite often these pieces will be near one of the corners of a puzzle.

When you complete the puzzle correctly it will show a gif of someone giving you a thumbs up. The picture shows your completion time and there is a Next button if you want to play another puzzle, then change the date.

Game Features

Each day this game offers another level to play through. You can play three different puzzles from each day by refreshing this page and choosing another puzzle size.

Alternatively uou can click on date on the left side of your completed puzzle to choose another date and play another puzzle of the same size.

Your web browser automatically stores the amount of time and number of moves it took you to complete each puzzle.

The lower left side of the game offers buttons to pause the game, restart the puzzle, adjust game music and sounds, or switch between full screen or embedded play modes.
