Click on the difficulty level you would like to play: easy, medium, hard or expert. Atlernatively you can click on the "PRINT TODAY'S KAODUKU" button to create a printable version of today's puzzle.

In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there are buttons to erase gameplay data, share the game on social media, read developer info, or install the game on your device as a web app.
The game has a button for more games at the bottom center and a language selector which is in the lower left corner.
Kaodokus are a new variation of sudoku with symbols that are only partially given.
Instead of numbers, the cells contain smiley faces which can have three possible shapes and three possible mouths.
Each of the nine unique combinations has to appear exactly once in each column, row, or box - just like in normal sudoku.
This game has a built in error checker. If you are uncertain of your progress you can click on the "?" button in the lower left corner to check for errors.
Each day this game offers another level to play through. You can play through mutliple puzzles on the same day by choosing different difficulty levels.
Your web browser automatically stores the amount of time and number of moves it took you to complete each puzzle.
You can click on date to choose another date and play another puzzle.
The lower left corner of the game offers buttons to pause the game, restart the level, check for errors, control game music and sounds, or switch between full screen or embedded play modes.
