How to Play

Basics

Match identical holiday-season themed stones to remove them from the board. Matches must be identical. Two differently designed Christmas trees can not be matched with each other.

Identical stones may be matched if:

they are adjacent
they can be connected by a straight line that does not pass through any other stones
they can be connected by a line that turns 90 degrees once or twice

When you match identical tiles it will form the associated object, which will then move offscreen.

Tiles show holiday themed pictures including: Santa Clause, Rudolph the red nose reindeer, stockings, gingerbread men, bells, ornaments, candy canes, Santa's present bag, Christmas presents, Christmas trees, and mistletoes.

Levels

This is a 12-stage game. Levels start off easy with the first level having a 1:05 timer. As you progress through the game levels grow more difficult and the time limit increases.

If you fail a level you can try it again, however you can't go back to replay previously beat levels without starting the game over from the first stage.

Play Tips

Corners & Edges First

Tiles near the edge of the board and in the corners are easier to match since they have pathways to many other tiles.

Scoring

Each pair you match is worth 50 points.

You can activate a chain bonus by creating a second stone match before the prior matched item has moved to the edge of the screen. Matching stones which are further away from each other gives you more time to make subsequent matches while keeping the chain bonus active.

Every second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.

Shuffling the remaining tiles or taking a hint cost 250 points each.

Game Controls

The game controls are shown on the right side.

At the top it shows your level number, cumulative game score, and a timer indicating how much time you have remaining to beat the current level.

At the bottom there are buttons to manually shuffle tiles, get a hint, pause the game, switch to full screen mode, control game sounds, and control game music.

Automated Shuffles

Whenever no tile matches remain the board automatically reshuffles, so if the board does not shuffle it means there is at least one valid move remaining.
